Who we are
Folri (“the App”) is a third-party iOS app for searching, reading, and editing Markdown and text notes on your own Synology NAS via QuickConnect. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it. Folri is not affiliated with or endorsed by Synology.

NAS connection and notes
When you sign in with QuickConnect (or related Synology credentials you provide), the App connects directly from your device to your NAS to list, search, read, create, and edit files you choose. Credentials and connection settings are stored on your device (for example in the Keychain / app storage). We do not receive your NAS password.
On-device index and caches
To enable fast search, the App may store an index and related caches locally on your device. Deleting the App removes this on-device data, subject to iOS backup behavior.
Purchases
If you buy Folri Pro, purchase and restore are handled by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s terms and privacy policy also apply to purchases.
Language preference
If you choose an in-app language, that preference may be stored locally on your device.
Diagnostics
The App may keep optional diagnostic logs on your device for troubleshooting. These logs are not uploaded automatically to a Folri developer server.
Analytics and tracking
The App does not use App Tracking Transparency for cross-app tracking, and does not include third-party ad networks in the current build described by this policy.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the App if you are under the minimum age required in your region for App Store use.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy, where permitted by law.
